About Me

Stevie volunteering at the crane table for Owl Fest at Eagle Creek.

I’m a Black American museum professional specializing in curation and exhibit development with a focus in collections. I am passionate about creating memorable experiences through engaging exhibits for a wide range of audiences.

I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts from the University of Indianapolis where I focused on illustration via printmaking, photography, and painting. I also minored in art history.

I earned their Master’s Degree in Museum Studies where I gained practical hands-on experience with museum exhibit curation and development, collection management and preservation, and education. I also have experience in visitor studies evaluations.

When not working, I can be found tending to my garden, eating at a new food spot with friends, hanging out with my cat, volunteering at other institutions, or illustrating bugs and insects!
